April 2024: Pensions Council report on Alternative AE Proposal
The Pensions Council has concluded its response to the Minister for Social Protection’s request to review a proposal from Mr. Colm Fagan, who suggested it as an alternative structural basis for the Automatic Enrolment (AE) system that was approved by Government in March 2022, including the decumulation phase. The Pensions Council’s report, along with Mr Fagan’s proposal and the technical evaluation of that proposal carried out by Paragon Research Limited is now available on the Council’s website.
